About Sally
Sally has 30 years of nonprofit work, with experience as an Executive Director with a variety of nonprofit organizations. She has extensive experience with the issues of building and restructuring organizations and displays an intuitive understanding of the strategic challenges of widely varying organizations – formulating and implementing successful solutions to the questions facing you and your Board. Her resume includes management positions of Board Chair, board member and Executive Director, as well as hands-on experience in development, finance, accounting and treasury operations.
Most recently, she served as the Interim Executive Director of the National Association on Mental Illness for Yolo County. Prior to that position she was the Executive Director of the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program in San Francisco, having served as the Executive Director of Episcopal Charities of the Diocese of California. Her first Executive Director position was with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, San Francisco Bay Area Affiliate. Highlights of her volunteer roles have included Board Chair of Guide Dogs for the Blind, President of the Junior League of San Francisco, and National Board Chair of Episcopal Communities Services of America.
Professionally she is on the faculty of the Impact Foundry in Sacramento teaching workshops in Finance, Board Recruitment and Board Governance. She also is an operating partner in the family-owned Crystal Bay Solutions, LLC., which develops integrated software solutions for a wide range of corporate and non-profit workflow management challenges.
